Changing the print jobs folder

    The print server usually stores all incoming print jobs in a folder inside the Preferences folder on your startup disk. You can store the jobs in a folder on a different disk if the current disk does not have enough space to store all jobs.

    To change the print jobs folder:
    1 In the Finder, create a new folder on a local, nonremovable hard disk.
    2 Open the Apple menu and choose AppleShare IP Admin, then choose Print Admin.
    3 Start the print server if it is not running.
    4 Open the Server menu and choose Print Server Settings.
    5 Click the Select button.
    6 Locate the folder you created and select it.
    7 Stop and start the print server.
      As the print server restarts, it copies jobs from the old folder to the new folder.
